Applications are invited from eligible candidates for posting of Skilled Assistant on contract basis in the two year project on “Enhancement of production and productivity of major crops in Onattukara” at ORARS, Kayamkulam.

Post – I

Post – II

Name of Post  - Skilled Assistant (Scheme name - Screening medium duration rice varieties suited for Onattukara)

Qualification   :           B.Sc. Agriculture / MSc (Botany)

Post – III

Name of Post  - Skilled Assistant (Scheme name - Organic nutrition of medicinal rice Njavara in Onattukara)

No. of Vacancy -  1 No.

Qualification   :          

Essential          -         B.Sc. Agriculture / MSc in Chemistry / Analytical chemistry/ Biochemistry

Desirable          -         MSc. (Agri.) / Soil science/ Agricultural Chemistry/Agronomy, Experience in the relevant field, Certificate of computer proficiency.

Age                  :         Should not exceed 35 years as on 31/12/2010

Tenure              :         Till the termination of the project

Emoluments     :          Rs.7,500/- pm (Consolidated)

Note:- 1. Xerox copy of the application form given may be used.

           2. Self attested copies of the following documents should be enclosed

           d. B Sc. Degree certificate

            The originals should be produced for verification at the time of interview.

         3. A self addressed envelope of size 25 x 10 cm stamped Rs.5.00 should be enclosed for further communication.

         4. Filled in application complete in all respects should reach The Project Director & Head, ORARS, Kayamkulam – 690 502, Alappuzha district.

         5. Candidate applying for the three posts should send three separate applications with relevant copies of certificate.

         6. Application envelop should be super scribed “Application for the post of  Skilled Assistant”.
