• DuPont Ag-Biotech has an immediate opening at the DuPont Knowledge Center in the ICICI Knowledge Park in Hyderabad, India for a Research Associate with industrial/academic experience in plant tissue culture and genetic transformation


• Successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for plant genetic transformation

Qualifications

• M.Sc. degree in Agriculture/Plant Biology/ Biotechnology or related field


• Excellent tissue culture skills


• Experience with agrobacterium mediated transformation of crop species


• Experience with biolistic transformation will be an added advantage


• Good communication skills and team work capabilities


• Ability and motivation to learn new technologies.


• Familiarity with DNA sequence manipulation software is desirable


• Excellent organizational & inter-personal skills.
