Project Title: Enhancing Research Capacity and Initiating Integrated M.Sc. / M.Tech. & Ph.D. Programme in the area of Food Science and Technology.



Duration: Initially the period of JRF is upto March, 2014.



Emoluments: Monthly remuneration of Rs. 18,000 plus HRA



Job requirements: To conduct research in the area of Fluid foods including dairy foods, Vegetables Processing Technology, Fermentation Technology, Enzyme Engineering and Technology, Downstream Processing,



Qualifications for JRF: M.Sc./M.Tech. in professional courses i.e. Food Science/Food Technology/Food Process Engineering/Post-harvest Technology/Dairy Technology/Dairy Microbiology/DairyEngineering/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology/Nanotechnology/Biochemical Engineering/Chemical Engineering/Fermentation Technology/Animal Products Technology/Horticulture with post-harvest technology specialization with 55% marks.







Age: Upper age limit is 28 years (5 years relaxation for Female/SC/ST/Physically Handicapped Candidates) as on the date of interview. All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.



Interview Schedule: A walk-in-interview will be held on October 17, 2011 at 10.30 AM in the office of the Coordinator, Centre of Food Science and Technology, Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Banaras Hindu University.
